What if, as a secondary school student, you could do more than just hear that maths, physics and IT matter? What if you could step into a lab, build a robot, visit companies, ask questions and try things out for yourself? Suddenly, everything that once seemed abstract in a textbook would start to feel real and relevant.<\/p>\n

That is exactly what the joint project of the University of Duna\u00fajv\u00e1ros and the Together for Future Engineers Association set out to achieve. It brought the world of STEM closer to young people in a hands-on, engaging and inspiring way.<\/p>\n

Supported by EU funding, the project mainly focused on young people aged 11 to 19, while also reaching those who had finished secondary school but had not yet entered higher education. It paid special attention to students from disadvantaged geographical, social and economic backgrounds, helping to widen their opportunities for further study and future careers.<\/p>\n

The programme offered far more than simple information sessions. It included themed events, roadshows, interactive competitions, robot-building clubs, science workshops, special physics classes, company visits, exam preparation courses, language training and professional clubs. As a result, maths and technical careers no longer seemed distant or theoretical, but exciting, accessible and full of possibility.<\/p>\n

Its most important message was simple: the careers of the future are not out of reach. With the right support and encouragement, they can become a real option for any young person.<\/p>\n

This project showed that a well-designed initiative can do more than present career paths. It can help young people imagine a future for themselves and take the first steps towards it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The development was implemented from EU funding in the project EFOP-3.4.4-16-2017-00022 under the Human Resource Development Operational Programme.<\/p>\n
