With the support of the European Union, the M35 motorway has been further constructed, which connects the M3 motorway to the M4 road while bypassing Debrecen. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The residents of the area had been waiting for the construction of the route for a long time.  The section between the M3 motorway and Debrecen was opened back in 2006, and in the current project, the road was also expanded with the construction of the 20 km section leading towards Beretty\u00f3\u00fajfalu.<\/p>\n

The new highway section is a 2×2 lane modern highway equipped with a simple and a complex rest area, perfectly meeting traffic safety requirements. The section includes the relocation and protection of all affected utilities, the realignment of national and local roads impacted by the crossing, and the construction of a parallel service road network to ensure access to properties.<\/p>\n

The M4 motorway is a total of 230 km long between Budapest and the Romanian border. At the border, it will be connected to the currently under-construction Romanian A3 motorway, which is planned to be extended all the way to the capital, Bucharest. This will also provide a fast connection between Ko\u0161ice, Debrecen, and Oradea, making transportation options easier. Through the connection of the M4 motorway and the main road number 4, the new section of the M35 motorway provides more optimal conditions for transit traffic, improves the accessibility of Debrecen, and enhances international road connections, especially with Romania. Better international road connections expand Hungary’s opportunities in the European economic cycle and attract investments, thereby boosting the competitiveness of the Northern Great Plain region, providing more jobs and a better standard of living for the local population. Furthermore, the new highway reduces transit traffic passing through the towns, which also ensures a better quality of life for the local population.<\/p>\n

Through modern, high-capacity roads, shorter travel times, higher levels of traffic safety, and a reduction in the number of road accidents can be achieved in the region.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n
