The Palot\u00e1s Primary School has undergone significant development thanks to European Union funding, which was given to the Educational District Center of Salg\u00f3tarj\u00e1n under the Sz\u00e9chenyi 2020 program. Through these infrastructural developments, students are able to learn in a modern, inspiring environment that fosters talent development and ensures equal opportunities. The school also offers accessible functions, services, and opportunities that support and complement the basic tasks of education and upbringing.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The construction work was carried out in accordance with the architectural heritage of the building. The roof structure has been renewed, the facade received thermal insulation, and the old windows were replaced with modern, energy-efficient versions. In addition to the complete renovation of the interior spaces, previously separate restrooms were integrated within the building. The heating system was upgraded to a natural gas-powered system, and the IT, electrical, water, and sewage networks were also fully modernized.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the expansion and transformation, the school has been enriched with new classrooms, a development room, a library, and auxiliary rooms. A completely new gymnasium has also been built for the students, which includes changing rooms, showers, and a storage room. The external appearance of the building has been designed with a unified visual identity, with special attention given to accessibility, ensuring that the institution is easily approachable and usable by all students.<\/p>\n

As part of the project, the school\u2019s equipment has also been expanded. New, flexible furniture has been placed in the classrooms to facilitate group work and the application of modern teaching methods. In addition to acquiring equipment for physical education, the school has been enriched with robotic tools, visual aids, and teaching resources to support pedagogical innovation.<\/p>\n

Through the investment, children from local and nearby families can learn within the walls of a school that truly meets the expectations of the 21st century. The developments not only enhance the quality of education but also provide long-term benefits to the community, ensuring the best conditions for children\u2019s learning and development.<\/p>\n

The development was implemented from EU funding in the project EFOP-4.1.2-17-2017-00041 under the Human Resource Development Operational Programme.<\/p>\n
