With the support of grant funding, Web\u00e9pker Ltd. has taken a major step toward sustainable building-material manufacturing. The company received EU funding under the Hungarian Multi Programme IV \u2013 Green National Champions, enabling the establishment of a modern, energy-efficient production facility in Domb\u00f3v\u00e1r, designed to meet the challenges of the future.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Founded in 1990, Web\u00e9pker Ltd. has grown into one of the leading building-material suppliers in Southern Transdanubia. At the heart of the current investment is the innovative ECO-BOX system, a modern solution compatible with contemporary thermal insulation systems and capable of replacing traditional polystyrene boards. What makes this development particularly noteworthy is its ability to reuse significant quantities of polystyrene waste, thereby substantially reducing environmental impact while making construction processes simpler, more cost-effective, and more efficient.<\/p>\n

The former manual production process has now been replaced by a fully automated serial manufacturing system, capable of meeting growing market demand quickly and without compromise. As part of the project, Web\u00e9pker Ltd. constructed a state-of-the-art 760 m\u00b2 production hall in Domb\u00f3v\u00e1r, equipped with modern infrastructure and advanced technologies. These solutions enable the cleaning, sorting, and preparation of polystyrene waste, as well as the fully automated production of ECO-BOX products, almost entirely eliminating the need for manual labour. The facility is also suitable for the manufacture of conventional polystyrene boards, allowing the company to respond flexibly to changing market demands.<\/p>\n

This significant technological advancement not only strengthens Web\u00e9pker Ltd.\u2019s position at the regional level, but also provides a solid foundation for competitiveness on national\u2014and potentially international\u2014markets through the ECO-BOX product range.<\/p>\n

The development was implemented from EU funding in the project GINOP-1.2.11-20-2020-00008 under the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Programme Plus.<\/p>\n
