Tam\u00e1si\u2019s new ecotourism project builds on the town\u2019s natural assets to create a coherent, sustainable tourism offer. It provides new experiences while encouraging longer stays, with the aim of making local tourism more balanced and diverse.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Funded by the European Union, the project delivered an integrated, multi-element development aligned with regional tourism strategies. Its key components\u2014the Trail Point, the renovated lookout tower, and the Ecotourism Visitor Centre\u2014are connected along a designated hiking route. The Trail Point serves as the main information hub for visitors, offering guidance on routes and programs, as well as basic hospitality services. From here, the trail leads to the lookout tower in the pine forest and continues to the Visitor Centre.<\/p>\n

The lookout tower remains a landmark, now enhanced with surrounding experience elements. During reconstruction, the outdated structure was renewed and redesigned to better fit its natural setting, with nearby family-friendly rest and play areas for all ages.<\/p>\n

The Ecotourism Visitor Centre features interactive exhibitions showcasing the area\u2019s natural values and Tam\u00e1si\u2019s history, using digital and visual tools to make learning engaging. Beyond exhibitions, it also functions as a coordinating hub for local tourism.<\/p>\n

Overall, the development strengthens quality tourism, helps reduce seasonal fluctuations, supports local service providers, and better integrates Tam\u00e1si into the region\u2019s tourism network. In the long term, the ecotourism system promotes sustainable development and economic stability.<\/p>\nngg_shortcode_0_placeholder\n

The development was implemented from EU funding in the project TOP-1.2.1-15-TL1-2016-00013 under the Territorial and Settlement Development Operational Programme.<\/p>\n
