At the beginning of 2026, between January 8\u201310, the 26th Educatio Exhibition was held \u2014 Hungary\u2019s largest higher education fair. Each year, the event provides guidance to tens of thousands of visitors on further education and career planning. Hungarian and international higher education institutions, language schools, and labor market stakeholders are represented at the exhibition.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The National Development Center (NFK) was also present as an exhibitor. The aim of its participation was to engage young people preparing to choose a career path through interactive project presentations and prize games, to strengthen awareness of the \u201cEgy\u00fctt fejl\u0151d\u00fcnk\u201d<\/em> brand responsible for communicating the results of Hungary\u2019s development policy, and last but not least, to present in an accessible way the achievements of the 2014\u20132020 programming period as well as the development directions and funding opportunities of the 2021\u20132027 period.<\/p>\n

One of the highlighted elements of the stand was the presentation of public education textbook and digital learning material developments implemented within the framework of the Human Resources Development Operational Programme (EFOP). As part of this, visitors were able to try the online game \u201cAre You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?\u201d<\/em>, available on the National Public Education Portal of the Education Authority. Today, the portal offers students more than one hundred digital textbooks, nearly fifty thousand interactive tasks, and content supporting visual learning.<\/p>\n

NFK also prepared various games to promote the \u201cEgy\u00fctt fejl\u0151d\u00fcnk\u201d<\/em> brand platforms and, through them, projects implemented with EU funding.<\/p>\n

In the EU-themed quiz, several Pillar projects of key importance to Hungary\u2019s development policy were featured. The questions covered topics such as the Teacher Career Model<\/a>, Youth Guarantee Plus<\/a>, vocational training disadvantage compensation programs and flexible learning pathways<\/a>, the establishment of Sectoral Skills Centers<\/a> in vocational education, and the development of public education infrastructure<\/a>. The Ap\u00e1czai Scholarship Program<\/a> was also discussed. During the three-day event, NFK reached nearly 5,000 visitors, helping them gain a closer understanding of the goals and results of EU-funded developments.<\/p>\n
