The Jurassic Park films have shown us that running a dinosaur park is not easy. Luckily, at Rezi Dinosaur and Adventure Park, no one has to chase escaped T-Rexes. The dinosaurs do not trample the grass either, so the park still needs proper tools to keep its grounds in good condition.
At this family-run park, children can travel back millions of years for a few hours. The park is located in Rezi, in a green valley surrounded by the hills of the Keszthely Mountains. Here, visitors can get close to lifelike dinosaurs that move and make sounds.
The attractions are an important part of the experience, but the surroundings matter too. Clean, well-maintained green areas help make the park pleasant and welcoming. EU funding helped the park buy modern machines and equipment. These make everyday maintenance faster and more efficient.
The new equipment also supports the park’s plans to create more grassed areas and plant more trees. This will make the surroundings even greener in the future.
The park has a difference in elevation of almost 12 metres between its lower and upper areas. This makes construction and installation work more difficult. A new laser level now helps staff place new attractions and structures more accurately.
Modern maintenance tools were also purchased. These allow staff to repair existing attractions, buildings and other equipment on site. This saves both time and money.
The park’s technical systems were upgraded as well. New network equipment provides better coverage and more reliable communication. New routers, security cameras, digital recording equipment, a public-address system and computers also help improve safety and everyday operations.
The park also purchased a plotter, a 3D printer and a laptop. These can be used to create custom-made souvenirs and other unique products. The new items can help expand the range available in the park’s toy and gift shop.
The café and restaurant were also upgraded. A new dishwasher makes daily work easier and helps reduce energy use.
The park’s water supply had previously depended on a pump that had been in use for eight years. A new water supply and pressure-boosting system now provides a more reliable solution.
Overall, the new equipment makes the park easier and more efficient to operate. At the same time, it helps provide visitors with a more comfortable and enjoyable experience.
