Railway Innovation for safety and development: Introducing the European Train Control System in the national railways

Thanks to the HUF 10 billion EU funding, travel on the Sopron – Szombathely – Szentgotthárd railway line has become safer: GYSEV Zrt. successfully completed the construction of the ETCS L2 train control equipment. On the 110-kilometer section, the train control system continuously monitors and, if necessary, regulates the speed of moving trains, and completely limits train-overtaking accident situations. The system not only increases the safety of rail transport, but also brings many additional benefits.

A bite of good will: The chocolate factory of Kék Madár Foundation was establised with EU funding

By purchasing the products at the chocolate manufactory of the Kék Madár Foundation, consumers also support the employment of disabled people with altered working capacity. This exemplary investment was realized in Szekszárd, with the involvement of EU funds.
