The National Development Centre (NFK) was proud to take part in the 2025 Villány Red Wine Festival, where good cheer went hand in hand with raising awareness through engaging communication.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to showcase — in an accessible and interactive way — the social impact of Hungary’s development policy and of projects supported by the European Union.
Special attention was given to the Széchenyi Plan Plus and the Együtt fejlődünk (We Develop Together) brand, which not only define the visual and thematic framework of Hungary’s development policy but also symbolize progress and collective achievement.
At the NFK stand, visitors were invited to take part in a range of interactive, themed games — from an EU quiz with a wheel of fortune, through the How Do They Say It in the Union? language game, to one of the festival’s highlights, the International Wine List – A Glass of Europe program.
Feedback was overwhelmingly positive. One visitor commented: “I’ve been coming to the wine festival since the regime change, but there have never been programs as good as the ones at this stand.”
Over the course of two days, more than a thousand visitors stopped by the NFK stand, where people of all ages found something to enjoy. Children and adults alike enthusiastically joined the games and conversations and eagerly browsed through NFK’s publications.
We are proud that our work continues to bring the results of EU-funded developments closer to people across the country. Our goal is to keep creating opportunities for personal encounters, direct dialogue, and engaging communication at as many public events as possible in the future.
