What does the school of the future look like in Szarvas?

2026. 03. 25.

Have you ever stopped to think about the environment in which the next generation’s knowledge is shaped? Are traditional classrooms still enough, or do the challenges of the 21st century call for a completely different approach? In Szarvas, a major development project offered real answers to these questions, while significantly raising the standard of education.

At the heart of the project was the Gál Ferenc University Practice Primary School and Kindergarten in Szarvas, where the investment created a modern and inspiring learning environment for students. Thanks to EU funding, a total of 16 classrooms were renovated, greatly improving the school’s infrastructure and the everyday conditions for learning.

But what does this mean in practice for students? As part of the development, the school’s digital resources were also significantly expanded. The institution received 12 interactive whiteboards with mobile display stands, 65 tablets, and two charging cabinets. These tools support modern, experience-based learning and help develop students’ digital skills.

Special attention was also given to equal access. A hearing loop system was installed to ensure that students with hearing impairments can fully participate in classroom activities.

In this renewed environment, children are able to gain practical knowledge they can use both in everyday life and later in their careers. After all, what is the value of knowledge if there is no real opportunity to apply it? Thanks to the modern infrastructure, students can put what they learn into practice in real-life situations, while teachers can work with more up-to-date and effective methods.

The progress achieved at the practice school in Szarvas has improved the conditions of education and, in the long term, helps students face the world with greater confidence.

The development was implemented from EU funding in the project EFOP-4.2.3-22-2022-00016 under the Human Resource Development Operational Programme.
