Under the Széchenyi 2020 Program, an advanced integrated healthcare service center was established in Lakitelek, in Bács-Kiskun County. This facility not only serves the residents of Lakitelek but also those from nearby settlements, offering a more modern healthcare environment.
The new Health House, supported by the European Union, aims to improve infrastructure and enhance the quality of services available. In this modern, highly functional building, a variety of primary healthcare services is provided. The addition of a dental clinic, adult general practitioner offices, pediatrician offices, and midwifery counseling services provides unmatched convenience for the local community. Residents can now access a range of medical services in one location.
The renovation of the building is not only remarkable from an aesthetic point of view but also outstanding from an energy perspective. The insulation work, along with new windows, doors, and heating systems, has significantly improved the facility’s energy efficiency. This enhancement is essential for reducing operating costs and promoting sustainability. The newly renovated roof and exterior areas ensure the facility’s long-term safe operation.
During the development, special attention was also paid to ensuring equal opportunities, as the new building included an accessible restroom and the connections between transportation routes and services were designed to be easily accessible and usable for everyone. Accessibility not only benefits those with mobility impairments but also those who need assistance for other reasons in transportation.
The new healthcare service center in Lakitelek, Bács-Kiskun County, represents a significant advancement in infrastructure and aims to provide high-quality healthcare services accessible to the local population.
