Modern agricultural hub in Sormás

2026. 05. 29.

AGRO BOY Ltd.’s EU-supported investment has made its grain storage and loading site in Sormás more modern, efficient and flexible. With the purchase of a new telescopic loader and a mobile bagging machine, the company can now support its partners with greater capacity, faster service and more cost-effective workflows.

AGRO BOY Ltd. has built its professional expertise and reliable service system as a family business, becoming an important partner for agricultural operators in the region. The company’s main activity is agricultural foreign trade, but over the years storage, loading and transport have also become key parts of its daily operations.

The grain storage and loading base at the Sormás branch serves partners with significant capacity. On the 2.3-hectare site, more than ten thousand tonnes of crops can be stored. The work is supported by crop drying and cleaning facilities, as well as a wide range of equipment. The company offers storage, loading, bagging and other goods-handling services to both small producers and larger suppliers.

The project focused on the purchase of two key pieces of equipment: a telescopic loader and a mobile bagging and bag-sealing machine. The new loader makes the loading and unloading of trucks faster and more efficient, while also improving the movement of goods within the site. The mobile bagging machine works as a complete packaging unit for bagging bulk goods, making the process simpler, more flexible and more economical. As a result of the development, productivity has increased, capacity use has improved, and day-to-day work organisation has become more predictable.

AGRO BOY Ltd.’s investment shows how a family business can strengthen its traditional activities with modern technological solutions. Thanks to the EU-supported development, the Sormás site now operates with more efficient workflows, better use of capacity and stronger competitiveness.
