Hevestherm Ltd.: at the forefront of efficiency

2025. 06. 30.

Hevestherm Ltd.’s development project was implemented with the support of the EDIOP Plus programme and co-financed by the European Union. The goal of the investment was not only to expand production capacity, but to achieve a comprehensive technological renewal that simultaneously enhances efficiency, workplace safety, and environmental consciousness.

At the heart of the project was the acquisition of modern manufacturing equipment. In the production of PVC doors and windows, the new four-head welding machine and CNC-controlled corner cleaner play a key role, enabling more precise and faster production while reducing error margins and waste. In addition to these, an automatic screwing machine was also installed, which further accelerated the assembly processes and significantly reduced downtime caused by human error.

The handling of heavy glass panes used in production is now facilitated by a new column crane and a mobile vacuum lifter. These devices not only improve efficiency but also significantly ease the physical burden on workers. The newly established ergonomic work environment contributes to safer and more comfortable daily operations.

Environmental awareness also played a key role in the investment. Hevestherm replaced the factory lighting with an energy-efficient LED system and installed a solar panel system, allowing the company to partially meet its electricity needs from renewable sources. This step is not only cost-effective but also enables a more sustainable operation in the long term.

Employee development and support were also important components of the project. Five employees participated in targeted training programs to confidently and professionally operate the new technologies. In addition, organizational development consulting was provided, leading to more transparent and efficient internal processes.

The developments have delivered tangible results: production capacity has increased, quality has improved, work processes have become faster, and the company’s competitiveness has further strengthened. This is an excellent example of how technological innovation, employee support, and environmental consciousness can be successfully combined. With this development, Hevestherm Ltd. has not only met the demands of the present but also laid a solid foundation for future growth.
