Peanut butter lovers’ mecca continues to grow

In terms of hazelnut spread, Vino Gusto Hazelnut Spread Ltd. is an indispensable player in the Hungarian gastronomic world, which started in Kiskőrös and has since been unwaveringly producing one of the favorite products for sweet-toothed individuals. But what makes this hazelnut cream special? Primarily because the company’s products are not only at the forefront in terms of taste but also in technology, thanks to the ongoing developments behind the scenes.

Years ago, Vino Gusto took up the gauntlet to supply the Hungarian market with its own hazelnut creams, alongside its legendary foreign competitor. At the production plant in Kiskőrös, every single jar of hazelnut magic is made by the hardworking hands of Hungarian labourers. Thanks to the company’s EU project under the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Programme Plus, production can now take place in an even more modern environment.

It’s not just about the flavours when it comes to making peanut butter – it’s also about how it gets to your table. That’s where Vino Gusto’s latest project comes in. They’ve transformed their hall in Kiskőrös into a technological marvel with a simple, elegant design. What did it all involve? For instance, there’s the Borelli MP4APFVP packaging machine and the Caotech CTE9 tubular heat exchanger, which might sound a bit technical to the average person. Energy efficiency was also a big factor in the development, with a 50 kW solar panel system installed on the roof of the production building. The way stock is moved has also been improved – CESAB forklifts, in both push-post and pedestrian versions, are almost dancing on the shelves. And there’s more! The company has also switched to Microsoft 365 as part of its modern working practices, so that peanut butter workers can communicate seamlessly even when they’re not on the factory floor.

Vino Gusto’s success lies not only in the quality of its peanut butter, but also in the passion with which it is made. The factory in Kiskőrös is not just a factory, it is a mecca for peanut butter lovers, where delicious flavours and advanced technology go hand in hand.

So the next time you reach for a peanut butter sandwich, remember that you may have just spooned it out of a jar in Kiskőrös.
